Levels too hard to complete

I really love Peggle, and I really like the concept of this game. But many of the levels are just too hard to complete without boosters. Im up to level 63 and cant help feeling like the game was designed to work against me. I dont mind a challenge. I dont mind spending several lives trying to beat a single level. But some of these are just too frustrating. There needs to be more balance to the reward-to-frustration ratio.
